Oxen Talk is a Montréal-based folk-popera trio consisting of the loopy and lanky Vancouver natives Luke Neima and Adrian Levine, Riley Fleck borne on the surf and sands of San Diego, and the American yokel Bob Lamont, who hails from West Fulton in upstate New York. They use an absurd variety of instruments (Guitar Piano Banjo Cello Violin Trumpet Clarinet French Horn Pennywhistle Jaw Harp Whistle etc etc) to blend folk, gospel, doo-wop, and indie-rock into small bagatelles. They have created a large enthusiastic following in Montreal, and brought various houses down at large annual festivals such as the Suoni per il Popolo, FREEDOM FEST, COOL FEST and others.
